Skoda Fabia 1.6 TDi with Faulty EGR and DPF

Upon arrival, a Skoda Fabia 1.6tdi demonstrated starting difficulty.
The vehicle was unresponsive initially, requiring a comprehensive review of its systems.
An initial diagnostic assessment revealed an irregular EGR function and a DPF reading of 73%, which should ideally remain below 50%.
This prompted further checks to ascertain any underlying issues that may have contributed to the DPF blockage.
A thorough examination indicated that the prior service facility had mistakenly installed new injectors with incorrect codes stored in the ECU, thereby impeding the vehicle’s capacity for DPF self-regeneration.
After correcting the injector codes, we conducted a series of tests to ensure optimal functionality.
This issue was rectified, along with the EGR function, and a forced regeneration utilizing JLM solution successfully reduced the DPF level to a commendable 22%.
This advanced tuning process not only optimized the engine’s efficiency but also improved fuel economy.
Furthermore, the customer sought an enhancement in vehicle performance, which we effectively achieved through our AlienTech system.
To further complement these enhancements, we also adjusted the vehicle’s throttle responsiveness and torque delivery.
The customer expressed satisfaction with the repairs and reported a noticeable improvement in driving dynamics.
