Smoke Under The Bonnet!

A customer arrived with a Volvo XC90 presenting what appeared to be a severe issue, marked by smoke emanating from under the bonnet and a noticeable odor of burning oil.

We promptly diagnosed the issue as a leak from the inlet manifold gasket, which also serves as the rocker cover gasket, causing oil to drip onto the injectors.
Our team immediately began repairs, carefully replacing the faulty gasket to prevent any further oil leaks and ensure the engine operated smoothly.
Given the heat generated by the injectors, this resulted in significant smoke and the smell of burning oil.

After a few hours of service, the customer left with the vehicle restored to optimal condition, free from oil leaks and smoke emissions.
